COMPANY PROFILE
In 1979 Waldor Industries Limited manufactured its first basic model design of a horizontal continuous flow dryer/cooler.
Extensive research, development and product testing have made the VERS-A-BELT DRYER/COOLER adaptable to a wide range of products requiring moisture removal.
To date we have designed and manufactured over 140 dryer/coolers of various size and model. They are being used across Canada, United States, Finland, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Israel.
The VERS-A-BELT DRYER/COOLER provides gentle action drying using low temperature and high air volume. The product conveyor belt is designed to carry the product through the drying/cooling cycle. Gentle action stirators give a consistent finished product.
Conventional dryers use lower air volume, which can cause product scorching. Rotary drum dryers usually operate at very high temperatures, tumble the product causing damage and do not usually include cooling.
All the VERS-A-BELT DRYER/COOLERS are equipped with safety controls to shut the dryer down in case of a gas pressure problem, high temperature, burner flame loss, motor overload, or electrical failure.
All dryers are built to International Approval Standards – Canadian and U.S. Fuel Safety Regulations.
Electrical voltage is adaptable to the customers supplied voltage to avoid the need for transformers.
Some of the more common heat sources used are liquid or vapour propane, natural gas, steam, butane, diesel, and furnace or coal oil.
